I ordered some food items over amazon japan but they sent an email that i wasnt going to get it delivered to me. On top of that, when i try to go through the refund procedure it says they cant take back food items. I never even got it in the first place and i dont see a way to get my money back. The items were supposed to be delivered the 17th but it never came…they said the issue was shipping error or something and that once they get the item they will refund my account but its already feb 1st. Is there some way I can get this resolved? the shitty thing is that, obviously, customer service is all in Japanese and i am nowhere near the level to be having a conversation in japanese. I feel like i wont be getting my money back. it wasnt too much, like 2500 yen, but its the principle of the matter. what can be done?
edit: is there english support somewhere i havent looked?
EDIT: yes, the chat worked and after clicking the right options it gives you i managed to get to a real person, but they transferred my call to an english speaking person. it was resolved. thanks everyone. live and learn. Apparently the items were damaged in delivery as the reason why it never got here but why not just issue the refund right away…
