Hello I’m a 21F from the United States , Im currently an undergraduate and I graduate next year!
I’m a Black American US citizen and I’m considered getting my Masters in Japan! I ’ve been taking Japan language courses in my spare time. I’m not fluent but my goal is to get better in the language. I’m studying Spanish,Korean, Chinese and other languages as well. I’ve also considered the JET program as a possibility as well.
The only thing stopping me from applying and starting the application process is that I’m scared that if I pick the wrong location and university I’ll get hate.
Don’t get me wrong I love the country, culture, language and I’ve been interested in Japan since I was quite literally 4 ( My mom has exposed me to the culture since birth). But I don’t want to be harmed or worst.
I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give me on this subject.
