How to get rid of fishy smell of nori?


Tried making sushi (maki) for the first time, the nori smelled so awfully fishy I had to trash them. Tasted nothing like the nori I’ve had in numerus places. Also 100% sure it was the nori cause I made a second roll with just vegetables cause first i thought it was the fish. The brand was MIYATA, same as in picture. Help me out!
