House building: which roof to choose

My builder offers the choice between clay (瓦) flat tiles, or metal galvanium slates.

Colors are basically the same dark black, blue or green.

Researching about it, it’s hard to find an honest opinion. A lot of “metal roofs are noisy” next to “noisy metal roofs are a myth” and so on.

Clay tiles seem to be better at warding off heat and humidity. But they are heavy and fall/break easily during earthquakes. Glavanium is supposedly very good at reflecting heat.

Anyway, anyone went through this? What did you choose and would you recommend it?
