Does anyone have any information, anecdotal or otherwise, on how hard or easy it is to get into Waseda’s English-based MA program for the Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies? I keep reading online mixed results for how hard or not hard it is an international student.
As some background information about myself: I have a Bachelors from a state school in political science and history, and a MA from the same university in East Asian studies with a focus on Japanese culture and society. Between graduating with my undergrad degree and going into my first Masters, I spent a year in Japan teaching English. I had a 2.8 GPA in my undergrad but a 3.9 in grad school.
If anyone has any information on how competitive it can be or how hard it is in general to get in would be much appreciated.
