Going to Japan for the first time from late Feb to mid March and would appreciate any tips/suggestions, especially near the end of the trip where there’s more free time!
Some notes:
* One of our trip members if only going for 2 weeks so we had to front-load our trip
* Our group isn’t much of a nightlife group, we’ll mainly just wander around a nearby area/near our hotel at night but would be down to try new things!

* Afternoon: Arrival at NRT/check into hotel, explore/dinner somewhere near hotel
**Day 2: Tokyo**
* Morning: Tsukiji Outer Market
* Afternoon: Ginza Area
* Get some new glasses from Jins/Zoff
* Uniqlo, GU, Muji, etc
**Day 3: Tokyo**
* M: Meiji Jingu
* A: Harajuku/Shibuya
* Thrifting! Aiming to get some outer layers and shoes (new balances, etc.)
**Day 4: Tokyo**
* M: Sensoji temple/Nakamise-dori street
* A: Ghibli museum (tickets booked)
**Day 5: Tokyo > Kyoto**
* M: TeamLab Borderless (tickets booked), Tokyo Tower if there’s time
* A: Train to Kyoto, chill around hotel area
**Day 6: Kyoto**
* M: Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizudera/Sanneizaka/Ninenzaka
* A: Uji
**Day 7: Kyoto**
* M: Kyoto Imperial Palace
* A: Nishiki Market, Gion District
**Day 8: Kyoto**
* M: Arashiyama/Sagano Scenic Railway (tickets booked)
* A: Free time – rest/temple hopping/biking kamo river
**Day 9: Kyoto > Osaka**
* M: Train to Osaka, Osaka Castle
* A: Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi Shopping Street
**Day 10: Osaka (Nara)**
* M: Nara
* A: Nara, Free Time/Hep Five Ferris Wheel
* I don’t think Nara will take up the whole day, will take the day to rest for USJ the next day
**Day 11: Osaka (Universal Studios)**
* M/A: USJ (tickets + fast pass booked)
**Day 12: Osaka > Hiroshima** (one friend flies back home)
* M: Train to Hiroshima
* A: Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum/Park/Atomic Bomb Dome
**Day 13: Hiroshima (Miyajima Day Trip)**
* M/A: Miyajima, explore Hiroshima more if we have time
**Day 14: Hiroshima > Kobe**
* M: Train to Kobe
* A: Kobe Harborland/explore area
**Day 15: Kobe > Tokyo**
* M: Street shopping around Sankita/Sannomiya Ceter, Kobe beef lunch
* A: Train to Tokyo
**Day 16: Tokyo**
* M/A: Akihabara area, Ueno Park
**Day 17: Tokyo (Kamakura/Enoshima Day Trip)**
* M: Kamakura
* A: Enoshima
**Day 18: Tokyo**
* M: Ikebukuro
* A: ShinOkubo/Shinjuku shopping
* Night: Shinjuku Golden Gai if we’re feeling up for it
**Day 19: Tokyo (Free Day)**
* Free time/anything that we missed earlier on
* Cherry blossoms? (forecast says it’ll be \~1 week too early)
* DisneySea? (no tickets booked yet since unsure)
**Day 20: Tokyo**
* Morning: Cherry blossoms/free time
* Afternoon: Fly back home
