Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking on this sub for a while now to get ideas / recommendations for mine and my boyfriends trip (we are in our lateish 20’s) in early May.
This is still a VERY rough itinerary and wanting any feedback and recs on it.
**Day 1 (May 7/8th) wed – Tokyo**
* travel, land in Haneda @ 5pm on the 8th Tokyo time
* Immigration approx 1hr
* Get to hotel 7-8pm ish
* Grab dinner, relax, explore
**Day 2 (May 9th) thu – Tokyo**
* Ueno park (morning)
* Akihabara shopping + explore (afternoon?) or ameyoko (closer)
* Senso-Ji temple (better at night?)
* Tokyo sky tree (better at night?)
**Day 3 (May 10) Fri – Tokyo**
* Sanrio puroland
* Go out clubbing at night? Any recs on clubbing? we are into hip hop and house music.
**Day 4 (May 11) sat – Tokyo**
* Yoyogi park + Meiji jingu explore
* Takeshita street (Harajuku)
* Shibuya crossing
* Nintendo Tokyo
* Shibuya sky
* Visit Shinjuku or save for its own day?
**Day 5 (May 12) sun – mt Fuji**
* Mt Fuji day trip
* Oishi park (lake kawaguchi)
* Lake yamanaka?
**Day 6 (May 13-15) Mon-wed Osaka**
* Osaka
* Planning to do things using the Osaka amazing pass while here
* If anyone has absolute must do’s / sees please recommend!
**Day 9 (May 16) thu – Kyoto**
* Samurai museum or samurai / ninja experience
* Nishiki market
* J.house
**Day 10 (May 17) Fri – Kyoto**
* Fushimi Inari shrine (planning to go early in the morning if we can mange to get up)
* Kamo river
* Kiyomizu-dera
* Ninenzaka
**Day 11 (May 18) sat – Tokyo**
* Relax day? Free explore? Any suggestions on what to do?
**Day 12 (May 19) sun – tokyo**
* Top ramen factory?
* I really love ramen / top ramen and want to visit but I’m not sure what else I could do in this area?
**Day 13 (May 20) mon – Tokyo**
* Planning to surprising my boyfriend to something if we get tickets to it when they go on sale
**Day 14 (May 21) tue – Tokyo**
* Disneysea
* Would love any opinions of if Disney Sea or Disneyland is better? We are so-cal natives so have been to Disneyland in Anaheim often so I would like to go to Disney Sea since its unique but I’ve heard mixed reviews about it?
**Day 15 (May 22) – Tokyo**
* Relax around hotel, pack up, travel back home

**Questions:**
1. We have not booked a hotel yet and I would love a recommendation on a hotel near a train station to make things easier. Which area would a hotel be best with fun night life but without breaking the bank too much?
2. Any must visit restaurants / food recs please include as well
