We will be flying out of Chitose to Haneda, where we will have 1.5 hours to switch planes to fly to Seattle.
We will have two checked luggage (one oversized) too. I ASSUME, we don’t need to re-check those in at Haneda…
We were super stressed with our two hour layover of this flight itinerary when we came to Japan (1 hour in customs, 1 hour running to grab our bags to re-check them in at another terminal before our plane left).
I am so worried I screwed our chances of getting on our Seattle flight at Haneda. I ASSUME I need to declare my tax free purchases at Haneda. But won’t that take a long time? And dear god, do we actually need to re check in ours bags again!?
I am planning to pack my purchases in my carry on since every online post suggested that.
But what should I expect on this return trip? Should I pay the taxes at Chitose to save us? Can I do that at Chitose?
