I had a tooth extracted for braces on Saturday and unfortunately it still hurts quite a bit. The site instead seems to be clean, healing and not too painful but the teeth around the site and my cheek/lip on that side kinda hurt.
I was prescribed loxoprofen Na 60mg, but have run out. Do I ask the dentist office for more of that medicine (for which I have to wait until at least 10 am), or can I take generic painkillers like bufferin?
Btw, I’m still on antibiotics (amoxicillin) for another day so…
I’d appreciate any advice as the pain is quite irritating and stingy.
