I’m a friend’s tax representative for their pension refund and the 20% income tax refund now that they’ve left Japan. I need to take the documents to the tax office to start the application for the 20% income tax refund and to register as their tax representative.
If anyone here has done that, I was wondering what the average amount of time spent at the tax office for you was? I’m trying to figure out travel times and how much time I’ll need to spend at their local tax office as I’m nursing a baby at home. Need to decide if I should bring baby with me or leave baby at home for a few hours with my spouse.
