Population talk and how it’s fine to decline

So being here for almost 3 years now and ready to go home. I can safely say that the population in Japan is out of control and the more I see posts about how the population is declining, this makes me happy for my Japanese friends that will be here for their life.
Simply put, it’s crowded. Everywhere I go on trains, is too crowded. I never had to worry about getting seats to sit down for a 40-50 min rapid express in Germany, it’s just available no matter what. But here in Japan, it could be a freggin Wednesday afternoon and it’ll be crowded with people. The only chance you have is a on a local train to a destination that’s not desired or a very off time, and even then there are people.. I can’t even take my family to theme parks or festivals because literally millions of others want to do it too, on the same day.
Do you want to put your kids in lines for kid rides? Doesn’t matter there will be adults and young adult couples in line too, to ride kid rides, with no kids, boosting the line time from 5 min to 40 min.. I’m sick and tired of doing any events in the area or riding trains anymore unless it’s just me going on a business trip to the airport.
The fact is, it’s great news that the population is declining, they need it. They literally have people working in parking lots telling you when you can leave, like you need the help?!? And not one, but sometimes up to three people.. they just don’t know where to put people for jobs, because there’s too many of them.
I’ll give Japan this though, low crime rate, low homeless rate, and actually very nice humble people. Which is great considering if it was the opposite with these numbers, it would be terrifying.
