So I’m big into ancestry, and have been searching tirelessly for my Japanese ancestry. I have basically “completed” my other trees, except my Japanese side. I have hit a big wall, my grandmother was born and raised in Japan, she is fully Japanese. She gave me her parents names, She doesn’t know her grandparents names. I have her mothers maiden name. I tried ancestry but nothing comes up for their names, nor my grandmothers. I have no idea what village they were from to find their koseki, help?
