Wash Machine similar to American one

As the title states, I am looking for some recommendations for a washer that are very similar to American ones which usually has a feature to have warm water settings. Any pointers?
I searched the page but could not find any relevant posts.

  1. You’re not going to find a home with a hot water outlet near the washer. It’s why there is a long hose to suck up used bath water to use for warm water washing.

In other words your washer has a warm water setting, you just don’t have a connection other than the syphon to go to the tub.

Be aware that Japanese cloths soaps are formulated for cold water so any value to warming the water will be minimal and mostly psychosomatic.

  2. Or have a look at the Aqua one: AQW-FV800E. There are also ones from Miele available but they are super expensive! They’ll heat the water inside the machine. It takes a bit, quite a bit, longer, but hey…. I’m much happier than with my old machine.

  3. Look for a front loader ドラム洗濯機
Pretty much any of them will be able to do a hot wash as they heat up the drum.
New ones are pretty expensive, get a refurbished second hand.

  4. We use a front loading Miele W5820 . It has temperature controls from cold to 90 degrees Celsius. I really like the functions it has, can recommend. The only thing I might add is it might be a bit small for a large family.

  5. Hey there, fellow warm-laundry lover! I was struggling with this thing as well, and eventually found AQUA AQW-F8N in local Yodobashi Camera. There is no dryer built-in, and in warming mode it can wash only 2kg of laundry, so if you have some bunch of clothes you have to split it. Also its upper limit is 60C degrees. But it’s small, it actually do warm laundry and it’s CHEAP like 80k new one. Perfect for me, since when I seen these Panasonic monsters for 300k+, I was afraid it’d transform into Gundam and fly away to wipe a mess in some parallel Universe – in my case that was way too extra option that I’d consider next time.

Also this AQUA machine was hidden in some completely different section, separately from other Washing ~~Monsters~~ Machines. Also staff refused to guide me to it and was showing some another 300k+ shit instead despite me asking to show something simpler. So don’t be afraid to wander around a bit more by yourself.

I’m using my AQUA for about a week now, no issues so far.

P.S. I see you got another AQUA recommendation before. Seems like we got a brand that figured out an actually important features and that warm laundry is a basic function, not a luxury one like other brands are thinking.
