I am going to Japan in July for my second time and I am going to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto again. I went to these 3 before (briefly in Kyoto though) on a solo trip Winter 2022 and did nearly all the touristy things especially in Tokyo. The only reason why I’m not exploring other parts of Japan this time is because it’ll be my friend’s first visit. However, for times I’m on my own I want to look into more experiences that aren’t typically listed on Google or the hot spots of Japan. I do like cars/motorcycles for example and had the opportunity to visit Daikoku before, but recently only found out about fun2drive on reddit which lets you rent and drive jdm cars through some twisty wrong in Hakone but would also love to experience the underground garage meet as well.
If there are some more unique activities or places to visit I would love to hear suggestions. I am a female btw so open to all kinds of cute experiences too lol. I haven’t gone to Mt. Fuji yet or watch Sumo wrestling so that’s one of the places I would hit up this time.
