  1. Childcare really needs help here. People just can’t afford to not work and instead focus on family — and kids need care.

  2. This is absolutely nuts simply because infants basically can’t be left alone for any extended period of time for developmental reasons. Some hoikuen accept from 6-9 months, but this seems like an issue with the necessary atomization that takes place under capitalism. Humans are not solitary creatures, and as the old adage goes, it takes a village to raise a child.

  3. This should be very simple.

If there is absolutely no other alternative, simply take the children to work.

When the barcode haired old git of a manager shits his pants over it, simply telephone all of the newspapers, news channels, the ward office child services desk staff (including the one that speaks the English), police, neighbourhood association, MP, PM, SDF MPs, AKB48, and those two twats off of that Unbelievable programme, to come and see what the kerfuffle is all about.

On the one hand, it’s fucking despicable leaving a baby in the car, on the other hand, not working isn’t going to pay the bills.

Her husband can take turns every other day.
