I went away for a month and came back to check on my tatami and I’m not sure if it has some kind of dampness issue- there are these white spots on the back of them and I’m worried
Newbie to tatami care (not sure if this manufacturer requires the cardboard to be left at the back- I’m aware I have pretty novice knowledge so bare with me!)
I’ve sprayed with isopropyl alcohol and have been trying to air them out
Would love to sun them out but it’s been awfully humid and rainy lately
Any thoughts on how to fix this ?
