PR question: National pension/Nenkin proof and expatriation contract

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to apply for PR as “spouse of Japanese National”, I pass all the requirement (3 years term spouse visa, 3+ year marriage, 5+ years residency with work or spouse visa). However, my work situation for the last 2 years was a bit special: I was working as under a french expatriation contract, so paying pension / health insurance in France.

There is an agreement in France regarding pension and health insurance to prevent double payments, but I don’t have clue on how this is going to work for a PR application as, I didn’t receive any nenkin document for the last two years. Anyone knows if it would still be possible to get PR with this? Or should I wait two more years? (I will work again for a Japanese company from April)

We are looking to buy a house, having PR would make getting a loan much easier from what I understood.

To add some info:
\- I did the Japanese income tax declaration on my own
\- I kept my previous Japanese health insurance and paid it on my own, mostly to avoid the administrative hell to get the french health insurance to pay my medical expense here in Japan, I likely over-paid but well, that was way simpler (took me almost one year to get a paper from the french health insurance).
