I don’t live in Japan or read very good Japanese so I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me with some information since I don’t see it anywhere else online or in any of the Japan related reddits.
Are there any good local or national charities to donate to help with the obvious displacement and general recovery efforts from the NYD quakes? I know that the Red Cross is always an option, but I like to donate to operations closer to the cause when possible.
It’s been a horrible first 24 hours for everyone. I’m sorry for all those affected. Japan is one of the most welcoming and wonderful places I’ve ever been. Stay safe.
