Anywhere in the city I can get discs resurfaced?

Bought a video game which unfortunately has a ton of scratches on it which I’m hoping to have resurfaced. In the US, it’s really no big deal to go into a used game store and ask them to resurface a disc for you even if you didn’t buy it at the store (I always bought something else though when I’d ask).

Anywhere I can do so here in Tokyo? Would it be weird though to ask like Super Potato, Retro Game Camp, or Traders the same request? Is Bookoff a possibility?

  1. Disk Union can do that for you. There are a few locations around Tokyo. Both Ikebukuro and Machida locations have helped me with old CDs.

Why is ark spelled 方舟? I understand that it can be written other ways, like 箱舟 or 箱船, and those make sense, but why does the most common reading use the kanji for "direction/way", but keep the reading for "box"?
