Hello, I’m looking for neighborhoods that would be good to live in while I go to school in Shinjuku. One thing I’m struggling with is determining the commute time to Shinjuku from the different places I look at. I can find neighborhoods based on the metro maps but I don’t know a good way to estimate the time.
For example, one place I’m strongly considering is Kichijoji. Is there a good way to estimate the travel time between there and Shinjuku without actually being there?

Google maps works fine. Just make sure you don’t have the time set for the middle of the night.
