My Japanese has become really rusty. In the last few years I been focusing on learning other languages primarily Korean and French. And I haven’t been using/speaking Japanese for a long time even previous to focusing on Korean and French. Because of work and other things. So I finally decided to enroll into Japanese classes. The problem I’m facing kinda is that they asked my level and I’m gonna take a ‘test’ class and to be honest I’m having problems to remember words and so and now that my Korean skills have surpassed my Japanese skills I tend to mix the words that are similar. (I’m afraid in class I would ending up saying something in Korean)
Also I still retain my ability to read in Japanese (hiragana, katakana, and some basic kanji) but I guess I really need to review a lot of topics to refresh my memory. What I’m afraid is to be put in a lower level but as the classes progress I remember things and improve but the class doesn’t keep up with my pace and I don’t make much of my time and tuition.
It’s there a Japanese curriculum where I can review for free? And have you been in this situation before? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance
