Student here in shiga. I wish to see sunrise on new years at a shrine in kyoto (maybe yasaka or kiyomizu-dera) and the only problem I am facing is accommodation. I was planning to take the last train from my place to kyoto and roam around there till sunrise. and to the first train back to my place. Is it feasible? I’m worried about the cold. Also which shrines would have the best sunrise view?
