So I was in this apartment building called “la residence de Fukuoka” from June-September 2023. I was there for an internship and my company rented the apartment out for me, they gave me my apartment keys and a parking lot remote when I was there and asked me to return it to my locker when I moved out, and I did (on September 2nd 2023).
Now, 6 months later, my company gets mail from a “K-Mansion” saying that I had not returned the parking lot remote. I did! I had everything checked by my supervisor at my company before returning them, and he was literally there when I put it back. Even if I “didn’t return” it as they claim, why wait for 6 months? Doesn’t the landlord/staff check if everything is returned right after the tenant moves out? I’m just so confused about the whole thing because I damn well know I returned the remote with the key!
I’m sure they’ve messed it up somehow. Anyway, since my company mentioned a “K-mansion”, I looked it up, but I couldn’t find any apartments or properties under that name in Fukuoka, I found some “K-houses” but I literally don’t even know what those are, the place where I stayed was called “la residence de Fukuoka” ( [https://www.garnet-property.com/property-detail/La-Residence-de-Fukuoka-Prefectural-Office-2F](https://www.garnet-property.com/property-detail/La-Residence-de-Fukuoka-Prefectural-Office-2F) ) this is where my apartment was listed and I didn’t find any connection between the this site and “K-mansion” or “K-houses”.
I’m sure my company will look after it, but I don’t want to be a pain to them, and I definitely don’t want to look irresponsible, I know I returned both those things. If you guys know anything about a “K-mansion” in Fukuoka, or if there’s a rental company by that name, please let me know so I can look into it. The whole thing is fishy but I’ll try my best to find out what I can!
