15 Day Itinerary Check Feb 2024: Tokyo>Fukuoka>Hiroshima>Osaka>Kyoto>Kawaguchiko

Hello! I will be travelling to Japan for the second time with my fiancé and sister. We realize this is a lot of travelling and we are prepared for it. Would just like your guys thoughts and any other recommendations if any. Hotels, flights and trains that are available online have been already booked. Thanks in advance! Also, sorry for formatting, it got messed up after I posted.

\- Preferences: Tseukemen, Ramen, udon (any noodles we all love), Sushi, Cafes, Anything cat theme (souvenirs, cafes, etc), Desserts, Anime, Ghibli, Hello Kitty, Shopping for cute souvenirs, Sightseeing- Hotels:Tokyo : Located near Ginza Station and Ueno Station

Fukuoka: Located near Hakata Station

Hiroshima: Located near Hiroshima Station

Osaka: Located near Osaka-Namba Station

Kawaguchiko: Konansou- Luggage will be forwarded when heading over from Hiroshima to Osaka in order to just travel easier to Kawaguchiko

Tokyo:Day 1: Arrival

\- Arrival at Haneda at around 5PM- Hotel is in Ginza (Arrive around 7pm)- Check-in and have dinner somewhere (maybe travel to Tokyo Ramen street since we loved Rokurinsha last time)

\-Purchase Eki book at Book Compass

Day 2/3: Shinjuku/Harajuku/Asakusa

\-We didn’t get to go to these areas last time we were in Tokyo so we don’t have anything specific we want to see here. Open to some recommendations here!

\-Rikugien Gardens

Day 4: Fly to Fukuoka- Leave hotel around 4:45AM/5AM to head to Haneda (flight at 9am to Fukuoka)

\- Check-in hotel near Hakata station (11/12pm)

\- Find lunch somewhere (maybe some Hakata ramen)

\- Head to Nanzoin Temple

\- Dinner at Yatai Stalls (would love to have some recommendations here as we are a bit intimidated)

Day 5: Fukuoka- Daizaifu

\- Ohori Park

\- More Ramen for dinner

Day 6: Head to Hiroshima

\- Leave around 6:30AM to find Shinkansen (booked at 7:15AM)

\- Arrive Hakata Station (8/830AM)

\- Check-in hotel

\-Head to Atomic bomb museum/Peace Park (9/10AM)

\- Eat lunch somewhere (12PM)

\- Mazda tour at 2PM-4PM

\- Head back to Hiroshima Station and walk to Shukkei-Garden

\- Send luggage to Osaka somewhere? (would like some help here)

\- Dinner somewhere

Day 7: Hiroshima/Miyajima

\- Head to Miyashimagushi Station (7/8AM)

\- Purchase and board ferry to Miyajima

\- Mount Misen Ropeway

\- Visit Daishoin Temple/Itsukushima Shrine? (not sure if both are worth going)

\- Dinner somewhere back in Hiroshima

Day 8: Head to Osaka (Day 1) (stop by Himeji Castle)

\- Catch 730AM Shinkansen to Himeji

\- Arrive Himeji (\~10AM)

\- See Himeji Castle/walk around

\- Optional: head to Kobe for dinner? Or just head to Osaka

\- Dinner around Dotonburi

Day 9: Osaka Day 2

\- Start with the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest really early in the morning- Head over to the Arashiyama Monkey Park- Go to Tenryu-ji- Head over to Kinkaku-ji- Explore Osaka in the evening

Day 10: USJ & Mario Land

\- Just USJ & Mario Land- Explore Osaka in the evening

Day 11: Day trip to Kyoto- Start with Fushimi Inari really early in the morning and go to the top

\- Have lunch somewhere- Explore Osaka in the eveningDay 12: Osaka Day 4- Osaka Castle

\- Umeda Sky Building

Day 13: Head to Kawaguchiko

\- Head to Mishima Station- Take Liner Express Bus to Kawaguchiko

\- Call Hotel Konansou for shuttle pick up from Kawaguchiko Station

\- Onsen and Kaiseki dinner

Day 14: Head to Tokyo

\- Checkout by 10AM from Konansou

\- Go to Oike Park for pictures/explore

\- Head back to Tokyo via Shinkansen

\- Check-in hotel near Ueno station

\- Eat dinner somewhere

Day 15: Fly back home

\- No real plans this day, just do whatever else we want to do around Tokyo Station/Ueno then head to Narita for flight at 6pm
