Question about an expression I hear a lot in anime.

I hear a word that sounds like a positive affirmation a lot in anime but the subtitles always have different translations, so it seems contextual.

I’ve never seen it spelled out, but the word is pronounced: “so da”

Could be spelled:
Soda
Sota
Suota
Suoda
…etc

I’ve seen translations like “okay”, “that’s right”, “oh”

Any help here?
