To live in Japan

Hello Everybody.
So I am thinking of living and working in Japan in near future, and I know, “everyone wants to go there, because of anime, tech and stuff” but that’s kinda not my case. You see i have a Japanese girlfriend, although we are not married yet, and we currently live in Ireland (I’m Polish) we are thinking of moving there, in couple years maybe, or next year.
My biggest fear is not the language, not different culture but work situation, mainly I do not have a college degree or IT job expierence or education, from what I’m reading I also kinda not qualify for any SSW options, I’m working in pharmacy industry currently, quality/stock control.
My question is what are my chances of finding a job in Japan? Should I do some courses to up skill myself, or change industry? Maybe there is someone with similar situation or was in it, and somehow manage to power through? Any guidance or discussion is very welcome.

  1. None basically. Short of marrying your girlfriend, you do not qualify for any working visa.

  2. Zero.

Gain 10 years experience in a specific field which Japan has need of, then you’ll have a chance.

  3. Sorry, but all odds are stacked against you.

Easiest way would be marrying your gf.
But still, finding any decent jobs without a degree is close to impossible. Your option would be factory work with minimum wages only.
