Is there any rules or laws in Japan when it comes to how far in advance a landlord or company has to give you when they raise your rent?

I have a yearly lease with Leo Palace and received a email stating my rent will go up starting in March. I know in the states they need to give 30-40 days notice beforehand but what is it in Japan? Given only a two and a half weeks notice makes me feel like they’re forcing my hand. Any help or input would be much appreciated
