My family has a couple of competent and experienced ocean swimmers who wanted to swim in the water despite the temperatures this last week. However we are still new to the island so thinking a netted area would avoid poisonus sealife we might not have the experience to avoid, I took them to araha beach. I thought it would say “no services, swim at your own risk” but got an “absolutely no swimming” sign instead. Of course some people were still wading or even swimming but we’re not rule breakers, especially when we’re guests here.
So where should we go instead? Does anyone have recommendations?
