Itinerary during Golden Week

Hi, we just realized our “cheap” international flights were over GW. We have re arranged itinerary and booked hotels (with free cancellation), but are struggling understanding which pass we should get at each city to save as much as possible in transportation. It’s me, my wife and a 9 year old, the itinerary would be as follows:

22/4 Arrive Tokyo (HND) at 4:30pm, buy wifi and transport card (don’t know which one). Where should I stay? I would like to take the first train to Osaka next day.

23/4 Train to Osaka, staying near Namba station. Visit Castle+Kuromon+Walk around Dotonbori, etc.

24/4 Himeji Castle, Hozenji, Hozen-Ji Yokocho Alley

25/4 FD Universal (mainly for Nintendo world, fingers crossed not so packed as GW hasn’t started)

26/4 Train to Kyoto, staying in Minamigawa. Nishiki Market, Nijo Jo and Ninomaru castle (should I buy tickets in advance?).

27/4 Fushimi Inari (early), Higashiyama North and South. Imperial Gardens.

28/4 Hozugawa River Boat Trip, Arashishama, Giou-Ji, Okochi (worth it? or should I go to Take-no-michi).

29/4 Train to Tokyo. Stay near Ryogoku station. Shinjuku, Samurai Museum, Gyoen Park.

30/4 Tsujiki fish market, Ginza, Hamariyu Gardens

1/5 Ghibli Museum, National Museum, Imperial Garden

2/5 Matsumoto Day trip

3/5 Nikko Day trip

4/5 Last day shopping, etc

5/5 Leave 🙁

Questions:

Which pass should I get (if any) at Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo?

Which card should I buy for a family of three to move around? Tokyo Metro pass?

Order of activities in Tokyo is not set, would you recommend any day in particular to do Matsumoto and Nikko?

Which is the best company for pocket wifi?

Thank you in advance for any help!
