Seeing that there isnt any complete post about games I made my own list. I have given each of them a rating and the link to the play store, all the ones I put here are good games, free, fun and with enough words to learn.
Games without language option will be in japanese if you set your phone language in japanese before first open them, also i recommend to put screensaver time in 5 minutes to read slowly.

nice post tysm!
Domo, a very useful post!
i see bandori in here!!! if anyone ends up playing bandori and wants other similar japanese games i would also recommend project sekai or ensemble stars!
オススメ
* ドッキリ神回避 series and other 脱出ゲーム by GLOBAL GEAR, K.K.
* Indie 脱出ゲーム in general
I got recommended a quiz game called みんなで早押しクイズ or ‘minhaya’. Good for N1 study
https://minhaya.com/
Nice! you’ve got a few of my favs in here already, I’ll check out the rest 🙂
Currently play Blue Archive (yes, the game with the questionable community), wonder how it would be ranked on here. Still struggle through it and can’t go without searching new words every 3-4 sentences
Not exactly mobile apps but there are tons of Japanese browser games at [unityroom.com](https://unityroom.com)! From the name of the website itself, it’s full of Unity games made by a predominantly Japanese community. It reminds me of flash game websites back in the day.
There’s an option to filter it to games that work in mobile. I recommend イツカノヨル!
Great list! I also recommend プロジェクトセカイ, which you can get on QooApp. The story is fully voiced and has a log. I would say it’s probably medium or medium-hard. They speak slowly which makes it very helpful, and it has push-to-continue.
Fate/Grand Order: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aniplex.fategrandorder (need a Google JP account to download)
Sword Art Online: Integral Factor: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bandainamcoent.saoif (need Google JP account to download)
Both very story heavy! I’d put SAO in either medium hard or hard, and FGO in very hard. Both are a 5/5 for me
I kinda agree that Bandori is in the hard section. But overall most of their sentence structure aren’t that complicated.
I see a lot of cute games here, when I have the time I’ll definitely start some of them. Thank you for the list! I’m saving this right now!
