This may be an obvious answer but who is the “owner” of a home if I and my wife are on the deed to a home but I am the only person who has contributed to the mortgage and the mortgage is only in my name for the loan? This is for the purpose of deciding what/when to sell it.
I read somewhere that Japan may consider who actually pays as part of who “owns” the property so Im wondering.
