I’m wondering if karaoke libraries are shared along systems (such as Joysound or DAM), or along companies (ie. Big Echo etc.)
In other words, if my local karaoke shop which uses Joysound doesn’t have a song, would it be reasonable to assume it’s unavailable at all branches of that chain, or unavailable with any Joysound terminal regardless of company? Or does each location just decide for themselves which songs they carry?
I’m looking for a Japanese song, it’s a bit old but it’s the type of thing you might expect would be in a karaoke system. So far, no luck. Trying to figure what my best course of action is, aside from randomly trying out every place. The song has a lot of personal meaning to me.
