Could you get into trouble for one “visa run” between 2 three-month stays?

Hi guys

The title says it all really. I am applying for a student visa but as a plan B I was looking for alternative options. One of them would be to study at Coto Academy for a shorter period without a student visa.

Now, I know the maximum length of a tourist visa is 90 days, but I also read that immigration doesn’t really mind people going out and in the country ONCE. I also read that if you try this three times in a row, you are almost sure to be deported. This would amount to a maximum stay of of 180 days, minus perhaps a week (or longer) in Korea or whatever, which would be a nice alternative.

I am not looking for illegal options or anything. I just wanted to know if this is feasible, in the sense that is not dependent on the mood of your immigrations officer, and if some people have experience doing this. If this is more hit-or-miss or borderline illegal, then I won’t consider it.

Kind regards and have a nice weekend!
