Initially, my hair was fine when I first moved here, but after six months, it began to shorten due to excessive dryness. So because of that approximately one year ago, I decided to get a haircut, and since then, the length of my hair has remained unchanged. Unfortunately, it continues to be very dry with numerous split ends. My hair has a wavy/curly texture, and I exclusively use products tailored to my hair type, which I order from iHerb. But my curls don’t look as they used to anymore 🙁 Also, despite incorporating a shower filter, I have seen no improvements. I also use a silk pillowcase. I’m at a loss about what to do, as my hair is of great importance to me :((
Around the same time, I got a lot of pimples around my chin, I used to not get acne at all. But this problem started to improve now. During a one-month visit to my home country, both my hair and skin started to improve without any specific actions on my part. However, upon returning to Japan, the issues resurfaced.
Do you have any recommendations so my hair won’t be as dry anymore? Whether it involves salon treatments, specific products, or any other suggestions. While I’m considering a dermatologist, I’m uncertain if they can address this issue since it’s not precisely hair loss from the scalp; rather, the problem lies in the ends of my hair, they break all the time not allowing my hair to grow at all
