So, context, my friend is in Japan on an apprenticeship visa, and we are going to be visiting him while we on our trip. He sent a few books to our house in the US (couldn’t get them shipped to Japan for whatever reason) and wants us to bring them to him when we come.
My question here is:
Do we need to declare the books to customs if we intend on leaving them there? They aren’t expensive books, as far as I am aware. Like $15 each, maximum.
I’m stressing myself out about this big time, as I don’t want to make a mistake.
