Is it possible to find and reclaim an old bank account in Japan that belonged by my great-grandfather? My grandfather has also passed away but he told me about how my great-grandfather had a bank account with a Japanese bank. This would have been before the 1950’s. Do Japanese banks have bank records from that long ago? Where and how would I start my search?
