My wife grew up in Japan and moved to the States 10+ years ago. We are considering purchasing a new condo in Tokyo with the goal of visiting more often and eventually moving back. She insists on buying new, and our budget is around 1.5å„„. Currently, we’ve been exploring areas like Ebisu and Naka-Meguro, but are open to others.
While we don’t mind a 1LDK, we are concerned about its livability and resale value. A 2LDK would be ideal, but it seems to exceed our budget in the preferred areas.
Do you have any recommendations regarding specific areas or condo sizes? Additionally, any tips on buying new vs second-hand would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
