Looking for my buddy

I’m finally traveling to Japan in March. My love of Japan started when I was studying English and I spent a lot of time along with a group of Japanese students. I became really good friends with one of them in particular but after all these years, I lost track of him. Back then, all we could exchange was and address and a phone number – usually our parents! LOL The language is a huge barrier because I can not google him or call the phone number. I still have his address in Tokorosawa but that does me no good because I cannot write a letter and explain I’m looking for my lost friend. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can look for him? Is there anyone living in Tokyo that is bilingual willing to give me a hand finding him? I would really appreciate it! 🙂
