My partner and I will be visiting Japan in a few months for the first time (specifically Tokyo and Kyoto). We are both pretty heavily tattooed (think neck, hands) I know there are certain things we should avoid like public onsens. Any tips from other tattooed folks that have visited (ie what else we should avoid, when to cover up)? TIA!!
