This seems like a more recent trend as Ive been here coming up closing in on a decade now
When I first got here it was only JHS but even my JHS school has this
Any time a speaking activity starts kids will raise their voices to painfully load levels
If I actually try to join some kids in doing the speaking activity, they will use little mouse voices…. i cant hear them even if they used normal voices
Some kids even randomly start screaming in class. Not sure what for
The JTE is always T1 at JHS so Im not sure what’s going on. I mean I blame myself cus I T1 in ES but the fact that it happens at JHS too tells me it’s normal
I posted about this before and the nazi mods deleted it for no apparent reason other than to save face about teaching in japan i guess
