I know this has been asked a million times and I’ve been reading up on it as much as I can, but I’m an artist from the US who recently traveled to Japan for vacation. While I was there I was contacted by a pretty reputable artist/curator who has multiple galleries around Harajuku. We talked in person and he said he wanted to work with me to sell my art as stickers/tshirts at one of these locations. I remember him saying something about getting me a sponsor. Obviously this is something I have to work out with him, but I’m wondering if this is even possible for me? And if so, what kind of process would that entail/how long could it take? I just don’t know where to start lol. This would be a dream come true so if anybody knows or has experience with going to Japan to work with a gallery I would love to hear about it.
