Hey everyone! I would like to start off by saying thank you so much to everyone here who has posted your itineraries, feedback, and trip reports. Your posts have helped me immensely with planning my first solo international trip to Japan. I will be gone for 17 days from March 25th to April 11th.
I greatly value your feedback on my planned itinerary below. Please note that I am prioritizing the bolded activities on my list and the activities not bolded are extras that I will do depending on how I am feeling and how much time I spend at each place. I know that some of my days may seem packed. I plan to be flexible and am ok to skip some of the extra activities I had picked out. Most of my days I plan to wake up early, go and do activities and then head back to the hotel for a break/lunch and go back out later in the afternoon/evening.
Here is some feedback I would appreciate to hear from you all:
• Does the order of the day make sense?
• Any tips or recommendations you have for some of the areas I will be visiting.
• Recommendations for stores with mid-high end dress clothes? Would like to purchase some dress clothing during my visit.
• Any advice for when I rent my car? I already have my international Driver’s Permit. I have also done a bit of research on the traffic lights and signs.
• What are people’s experiences with pocket wifi? Is it very reliable? Will it work when I am hiking in Chiba and Miyajima?
• Recommendations for stores with artwork or other home decor.
• What are some of your favorite souvenirs you have brought back with you?
