I am a Danish student from the University of Southern Denmark, currently on an academic exchange at Ritsumeikan University. I am in Japan for this fall semester to conduct an anthropological fieldwork research for my bachelor’s degree, focusing on the experiences of individuals who engage in solo dining/drinking (or other solitary activites), also known as the cultural phenomenon ‘*ohitorisama*’.
I am hoping to find Japanese individuals who frequently go ‘*ohitorisama*’, or have relevant knowledge, to participate in my research by sharing their experiences. Your insights will significantly contribute to my study, providing valuable perspectives on this cultural phenomenon.
