The six-man title match result was Okada beating Fujita. While Fujita looked great in defeat, he usually does anyway. I really can’t agree with the call, especially since directly after Okada said they’d be relinquishing the titles. If there were no more chances for them to lose them to another team, they should’ve lost them here, surely? And especially given the backlash of NJPW seemingly in no hurry to give any major push to any of the new young stars despite the fact that Tanahashi is completely past it, Naito’s basically on his last run, and Okada is fucking off to parts unknown. In addition to this, this is like, what, the 6th or 7th title match TMDK have lost in a row? Counting both trios and tag.
