Itinerary check + Suggestions for free days

Hello Everyone!

Looking for some feedback on the following itinierary for May this year. For a little context, I visited Japan a couple of years ago right as Covid hit as a solo traveller; and it was the perfect mix of pretty much everything being open but no one being outside / no tourists as everyone had returned home – so most places I visited I was the only person there.

I’m well aware that isn’t going to be the case this time, and I’m also travelling with my partner this time; so we’ve built in a lot more space to make sure we have ample time to see / do whatever we want.

That said, would be great to have some feedback on this itinerary for us. If there are any days which feel particularly sparse or busy, please do point that out; and if there is anything glaring that we’ve neglected please do recommend that also. There are a few days where we have nothing planned so suggestions are more than welcome!
