I’ve been learning Japanese for about 3 months now through immersion listening and anki, the listening has mostly been through podcasts and I feel my learning aim is too broad in terms of all parts of the language I’m learning – I’m planning to go and work in japan in around a year and a half to work in a clothing brand as a pattern-cutter ; can anyone give me directions of what specifics in the language to work on or any resources to help cater in a work enviroment? Each word and sentence Anki deck I learn includes the kanji readings, should I put kanji on the back burner in favour of studying exclusively conversational Japanese?
