What do people normally wear to raves/clubs/concerts in Japan? Specifically in the electronic music scene.
I’m coming from the US, where our electronic music scene has a very flamboyant and revealing fashion culture. I would obviously assume Japan’s scene is very different, but what should I be packing? Are pashminas a thing there? (And if they’re not, do you think I could still get into venues with a pash? How tight is security usually for things like that?) How revealing is normal for women in the scene?
I’m assuming kandi is not a thing. How about accessories like kaleidoscopic glasses, sprouts, etc?
Also, if you have reco’s for scene/community resources around Tokyo I would GREATLY appreciate it. I like most electronic genres, but especially dubstep, bass, and DNB.
For context I am moving in March.
