I’ve been to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara and would like to visit another city. Hiroshima seems to be the next popular one, but I’m not sure if I’m particularly interested in seeing the Peace Memorial, etc.
To be honest, I liked Tokyo a lot more than Osaka because there was a lot more to see and do there, in my opinion. Likewise, when I was looking at videos of Hiroshima, it didn’t seem like there was that much to do there. I’m aware there also is Miyajima Island close by, as well as Hiroshima okonomiyaki to try.
Should I go to Hiroshima if I’m not so interested in seeing the Peace Memorial, etc.? If so, what else is there to do in the area? If not, do you have any recommendations for other cities that may be interesting to see?
