Itinerary Review Tokyo -> bunch of places -> Fukuoka -> Tokyo

Hi everyone! Planning a 4-week trip with 2 other friends (3 people total( this year in late November-December (After November 23rd ish). My friends are new to Japan so want to see a lot of different things. Main concerns are I’m mildly concerned our trip is a bit too packed but we’ve left some leeway here and there to compensate. We plan to bring backpacks so won’t be lugging around much luggage. Any advice, especially for things we have left out would be appreciated!

  1. You can always fly from Nagasaki or Fukuoka to Tokyo. Cheaper and faster. Or book home airport to Tokyo, then Nagasaki-Tokyo-home, skipping Tokyo on the way back.

  2. Day 21 Gunkanjima is in Nagasaki but you have travelling to Nagasaki the next day? Are you going to day trip it?

  3. For Day 27: I’ve been to most of the railway museums in the Tokyo area. All of them are at least an hour away from any other one. The only aircraft museum I know of is a couple of hours from central Tokyo.
