Hi! So, I really want to get into KICL, and I started working on my application today. There’s one part that left me dumbfounded:
The physical examination certificate, and how it requires a chest xray.
Is that standard practice to get a student visa in Japan?? I’m very late in the application process (I found out about this school a week ago and the enrollments rates are 85% complete, and there’s less than a month late) and I live in a medical desert in the french countryside. Completing that certificate would take me months.
I couldn’t find much info online on student visas and chest xrays, only that it’s required in countries with high rates of tuberculosis, which isn’t the case of France. If it’s mandatory, can I maybe get it done when I get to Japan?
Edit: My doctor wrote me a prescription and I miraculously managed to get the xray the next day, so issue sorted! Thanks for replies and advice everyone
